To Know Christ & to Make Him Known
Presbyterian Homes of Georgia
Caring Hands Fund
The Caring Hands Fund benefits the most vulnerable residents of Presbyterian Homes of Georgia. Monies are used largely to bridge the $4 million gap between Medicare reimbursement and the actual cost of the high quality of care that is provided for our health services residents. Almost 85 percent of our charitable expenditures are used to cover this cost. Caring Hands donations also allow in-home services to help residents in independent apartment homes maintain their independence.
“Since 1949, no resident has been asked to leave Presbyterian Homes of Georgia because they have outlived their finances.”
Mother’s Day Offering
More than 200 Presbyterian churches along with hundreds of individual donors statewide participate in the annual Mother’s Day Offering, which benefits the Caring Hands Fund. One of life’s great blessings is the opportunity to honor those who touched our lives by giving back to God’s most senior children.
Santa Claus Express
During the Christmas season, caring individuals and church organizations across the state donate toiletries and small gift items for our nursing care residents and other senior residents in need. The gifts are delivered by the jolly old elf himself at the annual Christmas party.
